When Moon Shells Invade

When moon shells invade
There will be
shooting stars
and spring cleaning
Losts and founds
and little things that matter
Nostalgia
and legends born
Misadventures
and confessions of love
Hope again
Child spirits
(Laughing when you're not supposed to)
At last,
at last,
at last!

When moon shells invade.

Fireworks

We lit so many fireworks
Darkness faded into glow
The sound of each explosion
Throbbing in our chests
We were rendered powerless
By that beautiful brilliance

Hunger

I listened to it grow, growl
A hunger, ancient, deep,
As intimate and vast as the sea
A caged carnivore:
Hungry eyes
Hungry hands

I Weep Dewdrops

The tips of my slender branches
make a gentle swaying sound
as they brush the earth of your skin
and my delicate tangled roots cling tight
I weep dewdrops knowing that we are but temporal

Vast Grey Sea

Standing naked
Before the grey sea
Beneath the grey skies
She confronts
A horizon
As vast and empty
As her heart

In Love

I am tiny,
My body is a blood cell
Swimming vessels to your heart
I am vast,
My body is the universe
Holding our eternity within
